How to set up Flixtele on Android
An Android phone or tablet is the fastest route to Flixtele — from download to first channel in roughly five minutes. You have two options: our own app, which activates with just your username and password, or a general IPTV player from the Play Store, which also asks for the server address. Both are covered below, and everything applies to Android 7 and up.

- The subscription email containing your username, password and server URL
- A steady connection — 15 Mbps or more for 4K
Step-by-Step Setup
Android Installation
Download Flixtele or a Player
Grab Flixtele from our Downloads page. It is not listed on the Play Store, so your browser will request permission to install it: tap Settings on that prompt, permit installs from your browser, then return and open the file. Prefer a general player? Open the Play Store and install IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate or XCIPTV.
Open the App & Login
Launch the app when installation completes. On Flixtele, enter the username and password from your subscription email and tap Login — activation happens automatically, with nothing extra to pay. On a general player, pick "Xtream Codes API" rather than M3U, then enter the server URL, username and password exactly as written in the email. Xtream Codes is worth it: it pulls in the TV guide and the on-demand library, while a bare M3U link carries only channels.
Wait for Content to Load
The first sync downloads your channel list, the EPG (the on-screen guide) and the film and series catalogue. Expect ten to thirty seconds, and longer on a slow line, since the guide alone can span several days of listings. Let it complete before browsing — cutting it short is the most common reason the guide ends up looking empty.
Set Up Favourites
Long-press a channel to favourite it, and do it early: the full list runs into the tens of thousands, and scrolling that on a phone wears thin quickly. Most players also let you hide categories you never watch, which speeds up loading and navigation.
Start Watching
Browse categories, search directly, or open the guide for what is on now and next. Streams play in HD, Full HD or 4K wherever the channel offers it — the player chooses automatically, and you can drop the quality from the playback menu if your connection is struggling.

Fixes specific to Android
The install fails with "App not installed"
Nearly always a leftover copy of the same app on the device. Remove it via Settings > Apps and install again. Still failing? Clear the Package Installer cache under Settings > Apps > Show system apps > Package Installer > Storage.
Channels buffer on mobile data but not on Wi-Fi
Mobile networks tend to throttle sustained video. Lower the stream quality in the player settings, or hop onto 5 GHz Wi-Fi where possible — 2.4 GHz is usually too crowded for dependable 4K.
The TV guide is empty
The EPG downloads separately from the channels and can take a few minutes on first launch. Trigger it manually from the player settings — look for "Refresh EPG" or "Update guide" — and keep the app open until it finishes.
